In 2004, three NYU students, Joby Earle, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Robbie Sublett, asked Daniel Banks to coach them on Hip Hop Theatre work they were developing in their free time. This was the impetus for the HHT courses and programs that became HHTI. (more…)
